Cardz TV Gallery St. Patrick's Day

Hello Friends-This year's March holiday, St. Patrick's Day is rapidly approaching. Do you send cards for this holiday? I usually don't, but I'm keeping with my goal to send my grandson a card a week while his daddy is deployed. This card is featured at the Cardz TV Gallery today. For this card I used the Cricut Create A Critter 2 cartridge and the Cardz TV Stamp Set called St. Patrick's Day. I cut the turtle at 4" so he would fit across the whole card and the hat was large enough to stamp the sentiment on. I know Kameron is going to love this card. You can shop Cardz TV Stamps HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Cutting Cafe Dress Shaped Card

I love girly stuff. I have four daughters, three granddaughters and one great granddaughter. In fact, this little dress card is for my great granddaughter's 2nd birthday. Needless to say, I was very excited when Regina assigned The Cutting Cafe Design Team a nice, girly assignment. This is the adorable DRESS SHAPED CARD 2 TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE. Could it possibly get any cuter? This file comes with the dress and embellishments like the scalloped hem, bow, collar and even an envelope. All I needed to do was add an adorable printed paper (KI Studios). I decided to add a pretty pink sash to the dress that I hand cut to place under the bow. I inked the edges of the bow pieces with a creamy brown chalk ink to get a little shadow and dimension. I just think this turned out so cute and it was a breeze to put together using the SVG cutting file and my Silhouette machine. Make sure you head over to The Cutting Cafe Blog on Saturday, Feb. 21st to see the rest of the DT projects. Thanks for stopping by.

Cardz TV Gallery Critter Captions For the Birds

Hi Everyone! So glad you stopped by today. I've got two kid's cards to share with you today. Cardz TVs Critter Captions and For the Birds are the two stamp sets I used. For the critter images I used the Cricut cartridge Animal Antics. What could be cuter than a hippo on a scooter or a toucan driving a car for a little getaway vacation. I have a 6x6 paper stack called American Road (made by Paper House) with fun travel papers that were perfect as backdrops for these two cards. As you may have seen in some of my previous posts, I've been making cards to send to my 3 1/2 year old grandson weekly while his daddy is on deployment. I just know he's going to love the cards I made for this month with a travel theme (scooter, car). I hope you'll stop by again to see my other themed cards for this month.

The Cutting Cafe Valentine Word Window

It's a Valentine project this week for The Cutting Cafe. I've used the VALENTINE WORD WINDOW SET-TEMPLATE AND CUTTING FILE for my design today. This is an awesome set that comes with 9 mini background printables, 6 Valentine Window cards, 2 envelopes and 7 miscellaneous images. I used the SVG cutting file and my Silhouette to cut my card from kraft cardstock and the top printed layer (word and heart). After assembling the card and layers I did a little embellishing with some paper flowers, leaves and a little lace. You'll want to be sure to stop by The Cutting Cafe Blog on Saturday (FEB. 7th) to see the rest of the projects from the Design Team. You're sure to be inspired. Thanks for stopping by.
