When my incredibly talented
BBTB2 design sister, Marina, picked this mug cut from Joy's of the Season for this week's challenge I was so excited. I knew immediately what I would design and what paper I would use. It always makes life so much simpler when a design comes to mind quickly. The paper I used is from Graphic 45. Doesn't it look like a pattern you'd see on china? For my design I used my Gypsy to make a shaped card using two of the images in a shadow cut and welding them at the bottom edge. I glued around three sides to make a pouch to put a tea bag in. I have made these before for friends just making a plain pouch, but this one is for a special friend and I wanted it to have a more feminine and fancy look. For the feminine touches I added a lace edge, a sheer ribbon bow and a gorgeous Prima flower.

My sentiment is printed onto a label cut from the new Cricut Lite cartridge Lacy Labels. If anyone is thinking about making the plunge into these cartridges that come from Walmart, I highly recommend this one. It has gorgeous labels in fantastic shapes, lacy looking doilies and lots of great sentiments. The layering is so easy and precise.
