The Cutting Cafe Mikala Ann

It's time for this month's second project for The Cutting Cafe. This week the Design Team is featuring projects using Elisha Jean and Friends. Regina has several files featuring "the friends". I used the printable stamp set Elisha Jean and Friends Holding an Apple and made my project with the adorable Mikala Ann. I also used Book Box Set 2 Template and Cutting File and the All About School Printable Stamp Set. The finished project will go to my granddaughter
filled with school supplies. Here is a side view of the box.

If you plan on using the box to hold school supplies you'll want to make sure to reinforce it with the chipboard cuts that are part of the template. It's very sturdy after you add the chipboard. This little box would also be great as a beginning of the year gift for a teacher. There are so many things you could add to a box that a teacher would appreciate. As a retired educator, I know how thrilling it would be to open this up and find some extra pencils, post-it notes, and maybe a little chocolate for the afternoon slump. Thanks for stopping by today.
