The challenge this week at BBTB2 is to use the Valentine (shift) cut from A Child's Year and vinyl. For my project this week I made a Wall/Door hanging. I made a heart using chipboard, for sturdiness, from the Gypsy Font cartridge cut at 8 inches. Then I covered it with Little Yellow Bicycle Sweet Love collection Pink Gingham. I made two hearts cut at 6" from BoBunny Unforgettable and a piece of clear acetate which I edged with lace and mounted on the larger heart. My Valentine cut from A Child's Year is cut in pink vinyl at 4". I had never worked with vinyl before and was a little nervous but it was a breeze to work with, nothing to be afraid of.

I cut out and assembled my own flowers using the flower cut from my Gypsy and cutting them at 1 1/2", 1 1/4" and 1". I again used Little Yellow Bicycle papers for the flowers. I inked the edges with Colorbox Chalk Ink in Maroon. The little hearts that I used for the center came from Hobby Lobby's valentine section.
